Ginnie Springs has often been called "the world's favorite freshwater dive." It's no exaggeration. Over the years, thousands of divers from around the world have marveled at Ginnie Springs' crystal-clear water and startling natural beauty. Jacques Cousteau, in fact, characterized Ginnie Spring as "visibility forever." Ginnie Springs, located in central Florida, is a set of several different springs that allows for excellent scuba diving and snorkeling. The water is a steady 72 degrees year round and offers excellent visibility. There are 55 campsites, bathhouses, RV hook-ups, tank fill, and several other creature comforts. You have to be open water certified to dive the outer Confined Open Waters and cave certified to dive the deeper caves.
